My self reflection

In 1 May 2014 I start volunteering in Sheikh Khalifa Medical (SKMC). I enjoy to be a  Volunteer. What I has bad idea about it before, I was think it only to loss time or for how don’t have is loser, But from first time I did volunteering work I feel am helpful in community and I have my place inside it. In my volunteering experiment I did many thing for the hospital such as calling people how have appointment to remand them in clinics, visit the Patients how have cancer or how have other disease that catch them in the hospital and we talk with them. Also we play with children how have special need.

The pest experiences, I get it from calling people, that some of them is talk English so my language is increase and also I learn how to be more patient. However, I meet old sick persons how have the pest experiences from the life, some time I set for more five hours with them and I don’t feel the time.

The volunteering  has many benefits, in the society and in the volunteering himself. The benefits in the community , Volunteer to lead the convergence between community groups and cohesion and the development of ties between them and it save the government efforts. Also benefits in volunteer, he will acquisition new experiences, also he will find his place in community and he will be helpful person in the life.

In conclusion, this was good experiment that help me to answer many questions in my head, also I will think I use me free time in the right place and I hope to have other time to continue the volunteering in the (SKMC) to get 1000 hours or more.

     This is a last  volunteering day report in Sheikh Khalifa Medical (SKMC),but it not the last work because I well continue after this to more than 50 hours to get Certificate from hospital because they  don’t give it only for how finish 50 hours and above. This day was hardest day, I work for full four hours without of any break because it was the last day in the week that they has many appointment in the clinic but I feel happy to do same thing for community and I hope to volunteer an my free time. This is the last volunteer hours, I finish 15 hours. This is good experiment and it increase my experience.

     This is a third  volunteering day in Sheikh Khalifa Medical (SKMC) and this is the day that our teacher visit us in the hospital and I enjoy to meet him and we show him our work. In this day my teacher give us his opinion about what we do and he was happy  . I finish my work  as I mentioned in the last report that I call people to remand them about their appointment in clinic 1 , before time that my teacher visit me , so this give time to take brake that I set with my teacher and my group as you can see in the pictures. This is the best day because my teacher visit us and the work was few. Also I finish to now 11 hours.

This is the first day in volunteer, it was hard day for us that they show us all the types of volunteer work and about safety . we saw the other volunteer people , from many nationality like UAE, India and  British, and the from many different ages . the best thing that I saw it is that they enjoy to help and to use there time to help. We meet many doctors that they show us some presentation about the hospital (SKCH) and finally the show us the hospital section that we will work in it. We start at 12.00pm to 5.00pm this is 5 hours.

     This is a second  volunteering day in Sheikh Khalifa Medical (SKMC) and I enjoy to be a  Volunteer . Today I join with my group in the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and the separate us every one in one clinic, for me they choose clinic 1 and  my work is to call the patients to remind them about their appointment with doctor. In this day I call more than 130 person from many different nationality some of them speak Arabic and other speak English it was hard start  but learn many things like how to communicate with people and how can help them and make them happy . The employees how work their they think me and my group to help them .

For example : that this project will help students from the School of the horse to develop the skills of their IT

This project will relieve pressure on the hospital staff and nurses working GENERAL special . And change the psyches of patients visit us and our presence on their side

We will work for a period of at least 5 hours per week and 50 hours total with the receipt of a certificate of appreciation presented by Khalifa Hospital .
